The Makita JR3070CT reciprocating saw has two times less vibration with AVT-Anti Vibration Technology. AVT is Makita's exclusive counterbalance system designed to reduce vibration to only 10 m/s2. The act reciprocating saw features a unique clutch assembly which helps protect the gears should the blade bind. 4-position orbital/straight cut settings and a variable speed dial for presetting maximum speed. Additional design details include a powerful 15 AMP motor with electronic speed control to maintain a constant speed under load, 1-1/4 In. blade stroke 0-2,800 SPM and tool-less blade change and shoe adjustment.
